The stages of your project

1. Historical and Technical Study of Pyrotechnic Pollution (HTPP)

This first step involves consulting local, national and international archives to assess risks and identify areas potentially contaminated by unexploded ordnance. SNCF archives, bombing mission reports and other historical sources are analyzed to obtain an overview of the contamination.

2. Pyrotechnic assessment

Diagnostics involves the use of advanced technologies to detect anomalies in the soil. Commonly used methods include:

Magnetometry: measuring variations in the earth`s magnetic field to detect metallic objects.
Electromagnetism: using electromagnetic detectors to identify potential targets.
Georadar (GPR): sending electromagnetic waves into the ground to detect changes in dielectric constant.
Multi-probe carts: mapping electromagnetic disturbances over large areas.

6. Waste management

Pyrotechnic residues and other hazardous waste are treated and disposed of in accordance with current regulations. This may include sorting, disposing of or burning the waste to minimize its environmental impact.

7. Pyrotechnic clearance certificate

After any intervention we provide you with a Pyrotechnic Clearance Certificate which guarantees that your site is now safe for future users. This is an essential document to meet the requirements of public authorities and insurers.
