Tailored solutions for local authorities

Drawing on our extensive expertise in waste treatment and recovery, we collect, treat and recover household waste all throughout France.

Household recycling waste is sent toward our sorting centers where paper, card, plastics, metals and aluminum are separated, conditioned and sent to the various recycling channels.

As part of our efforts to develop the circular economy, we have upgraded our sorting centers so they are capable of sorting 100% of household packaging waste, including all plastic packaging.

We also developed a solution to recover non-recyclable waste wrongly included in household recycling by transforming it into Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF), a new source of low-carbon energy used in certain industries to substitute fossil fuels or power urban heating networks.

In our sorting centers, recyclable materials are sorted, conditioned in bales and sent to the appropriate recycling channels.

SRF, a new source of low-carbon energy

We harness dry, high-calorie waste to produce Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF), a new source of low-carbon energy that certain industries use to replace fossil fuels.

Waste-to-energy

Non-recyclable, flammable waste is sent to our incineration units. The energy released by burning the materials is channeled into urban or industrial heating networks and electricity generators.

Storage of non-recyclable waste

Our storage facilities are designed to minimize the environmental impact of waste. The biogas, which is produced naturally when organic waste decomposes, is captured, treated, and injected into urban gas networks as well as electricity or heat generation plants.

We have developed and adapted treatment systems to sort and extract recoverable materials from furniture waste. Some woods can be reused to make new objects, while other materials can be transformed into solid recovered fuels.

We have developed recovery solutions to produce compost using green waste or to extract the organic materials from household waste. The compost produced meets current standards and can be used to fertilize soils.

The Cycle de Vallet sorting facility has developed specific expertise to recover organic waste, producing compost that has earned two labels: Ecocert and Ecolabel.

“We work day in, day out, to implement our industrial strategy and develop innovative channels in recycling and energy recovery to reduce the volume of waste stored or incinerated.”
