In many urban areas around the world, soils have been impacted by a long industrial history. Many unusable sites are abandoned, and cities are often forced to develop elsewhere, on land still dedicated to nature.

On this World Environment Day discover in video how Séché Environnement implements all its know-how to rehabilitate these sites, allow cities to reuse them and avoid the artificialization of new surfaces.

Saint-Denis, France

On this site, which supplied Paris with gas for 150 years, we carried out a titanic clean-up project lasting nearly 14 months. Today, it is home to the new #JO2024 Aquatic Center

Frontignan La Peyrade, France

Under a huge mobile containment tent, we are in the process of rehabilitating the site of a former refinery to give the commune back control of its seafront. The project will last 3 years.

Viña del Mar, Chili

At the heart of this seaside resort in the Valparaiso region lies Las Salinas, a former industrial zone impacted by hydrocarbons. With the help of our partners, we're going to clean up the soil while protecting the coastal ecosystem. The aim is to help revitalize Las Salinas and create a safe, sustainable urban environment for future generations.
