The magazine L’Usine Nouvelle, which organizes them, thus highlights innovations and inspiring practices for all manufacturers engaged in the search for solutions to contribute to the ecological transition and energy.

This June 29, the jury chose to distinguish the Séché Environnement group by awarding it the Circular Economy prize for its Maxibrome innovation.
Developed after several years of research and work on site at our subsidiary Trédi, in Saint-Vulbas (Ain), Maxibrome transforms a hazardous liquid waste, brominated brine, into new resources. 99% of used bromine can thus be reused, and the recycling process generates on average 20 times less greenhouse gases and consumes up to 3,000 times less water than the production of virgin bromine.
With Maxibrome, Séché has become the world’s leading supplier of recycled bromine and the 5th largest bromine producer.
