Trusted Partner for the Industry

Since 1996, we have specialized in the disposal of industrial gas cylinders and pressurized hazardous substances. Combining long-standing expertise with cutting-edge technology, we provide reliable, efficient, and fully compliant services trusted by the gas industry, waste management companies, and government authorities.

Closing the Loop – Circular Gas Cylinder Recycling

Every gas cylinder follows a standardized, safety-first process: hazardous contents are removed, cylinders are dismantled and treated, and the reclaimed steel is directed into specialized high-grade recycling streams. This ensures maximum environmental protection and contributes to a sustainable circular economy.

Focus: processing acetylene cylinders

Acetylene gas cylinders contain a porous mass that can hold solvents and, in many cases, asbestos – making them particularly challenging to handle. Our unique, patented disposal process ensures safe and environmentally responsible treatment in full compliance with regulatory standards.

Using a vacuum thermal oven, we heat the cylinders to recover the solvents by distillation. The remaining porous mass is then safely extracted, and the cylinder body is precisely and securely cut. This method guarantees maximum safety and environmental protection, even for the most hazardous cylinders.

Eliminate residual gases to protect the environment

Residues of specialty gases or substances with a high Global Warming Potential (GWP) are never released into the atmosphere. Instead, gas cylinders containing such residues — as well as those with defective valves — are safely processed at our special gases workshop at Trédi Saint-Vulbas, another key Groupe Séché Environnement site.

Using our advanced UTM technology, we ensure the secure, compliant and environmentally responsible treatment of pressurized gas cylinders. This guarantees full adherence to strict environmental regulations while protecting both people and the planet.
