About us

With over 25 years' experience in international and local projects, we have multidisciplinary teams to support you throughout the entire process of managing hazardous waste, industrial sludge and solvent treatment, as well as contaminated site clean-up and soil remediation.

Séché Group Mexico is a 100% subsidiary of the French group Séché Environnement, and has been operating in Mexico since 1998 as its subsidiary specializing in the treatment, reclamation and disposal of industrial waste.
At our industrial facilities in Salamanca and Guanajuato, we provide a wide range of services such as complete on-site and off-site waste management, with the capacity to treat PCB-contaminated transformers, capacitors and other equipment, making us the leader in Mexico.
On an international level, Séché Group Mexico collaborates with  other Latin American and Caribbean countries, such as the Dominican Republic, Panama and Guatemala in compliance with international and safety standards.

PCB treatment

We provide a complete and sustainable solution for the management of transformer oils and transformers contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Our headquarters in Mexico guarantee correct treatment at every stage, being the only ones on the national market able to offer the complete process line.

Logistics and transport

Thermal treatment or incineration

Mexico has no authorized PCB incineration facilities, so PCBs must be exported to countries offering this service, and transport must comply with the provisions of the Basel Convention. We export contaminated transformers and derived waste to the TREDI plant in Saint Vulbas France. This Groupe Séché facility specializes in the treatment of highly complex waste. PCBs are eliminated by pyrolytic incineration (at 1200°C), with gas treatment to prevent dioxin and furan emissions into the atmosphere. Established in 1976, it is one of the few plants in the world capable of processing all types of PCB waste, both solid and liquid, and rehabilitating transformers.
