The COVID-19 context has reminded us of the need to manage the waste produced by healthcare professionals in order to protect public health. The sharp increase in recent weeks has led us to adapt our organization, particularly at our Séché HealthCare subsidiary, which specializes in the collection and management of DASRI and healthcare waste. The daily challenge is to mobilize and participate in the national effort to guarantee the continuity of our activities, and our employees are fully mobilized.
Healthcare waste collection is a sector in which women are still few and far between, but one which welcomes all motivated people who want to make their contribution to the healthcare professions! The COVID-19 context, which has led to a sharp increase in the amount of waste to be handled, is opening up new career prospects in the waste collection sector, particularly for DASRI (medical waste). Our specialized subsidiary, Séché HealthCare, has rethought its organization and strengthened its teams in the field.
In this particular context, which requires us to constantly adapt to changes in our activities, several Séché employees have "changed" jobs, to reinforce teams whose activity has increased sharply in recent weeks. For example, some drivers have gone to reinforce the teams at Séché HealthCare, the group subsidiary specializing in the collection and management of waste produced by healthcare structures and professionals, known as DASRI.
