Séché Environnement pursues its development strategy in the wastewater services sector by acquiring a new entity in France's Isère region
The decision to acquire Assainissement Rhône Isère builds on Séché Environnement’s strategy of developing its activities in the wastewater services sector, which began with the acquisition of eight Paris-based branches of SARP-OSIS IDF in January 2022, followed by Assainissement 34 in Villeneuve-les-Béziers in July 2022.
Greater presence in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region
This acquisition reinforces the Group’s footprint in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region for high value-added service activities to industrial customers:
- Hazardous waste treatment with its Trédi sites in Salaise-sur-Sanne and Saint-Vulbas
- Solvent recycling, purification and active molecule synthesis with its Speichim Processing sites in Saint Vulbas and Montluçon
- Contaminated sites and soil management with its Séché Eco Services agency in Genas
- Healthcare waste management with its Séché Healthcare agency in Venissieux
Finally, the Group has also been offering solutions for sorting and recovering contaminated soil since January 1 via its SOVATRISE platform in Genas.
The teams at the R&D center in Saint-Vulbas are playing an active role in driving the Group’s growth in these activities.
All 12 employees from ARI have been incorporated into Séché Environnement as part of this acquisition, and the new local agency has been named „Séché Assainissement Rhône Isère“.
