The Trédi facility in Salaise-sur-Sanne is one of the largest hazardous waste incineration and recovery units in France.
Since 1985, our team of 200 people have been treating hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste as well as potentially infectious medical waste (PIMW) and household waste from towns in the surrounding area. We handle all types of waste – solid, liquid or sludge, conditioned or in bulk, containing chlorine or sulfur, as well as reactive, toxic or malodorous waste.
Our multi-channel center provides integrated solutions, boasting three incineration units with an authorized annual capacity of 294,000 tons. Our heat network enables us to recover the energy generated from the waste treatment process in the form of steam, which we channel into a platform serving 16 local manufacturing businesses. Large-scale work carried out in 2020 tripled the amount of steam we are able to recover, providing our partners with up to 600,000 tons of low-carbon energy each year.
In order to support manufacturers and businesses with the end-to-end management of their hazardous waste, we also operate a sorting and assembly platform.
We strive to develop high value-added solutions that set the benchmark regarding the energy and environmental transition, offering guarantees that complex waste will be handled safely. As such, we help protect the environment.
