Séché Transports collects potentially infectious medical waste for Séché Healthcare (subsidiary of the Group specializing in handling PIMW).

It also delivers waste to hazardous industrial and household waste treatment centers (4 centers), thermal treatment and energy recovery centers for hazardous industrial and household waste (6 centers) as well as physico-chemical treatment centers (3 centers).

The company strives to cut CO2 emissions by optimizing waste flows, operating a multimodal rail-road platform, and upgrading vehicles.

In addition to ensuring the optimal management and transport of waste flows, Séché Transports prides itself in providing a rapid response in the event of an emergency. Our subsidiary operates four sites in France (Changé, Le Vigeant, Salaise-sur-Sanne, and St-Vulbas).

When you call upon Séché Transports, you benefit from a named contact who is ready to listen to your needs and put forward suitable solutions. Its professional approach ensures clients are able to better control costs and manage their waste flows as they are in constant contact with treatment facilities.

Multimodal transport

At a site spanning 12 hectares in Longuefuye, north-western France, Séché Transports‘ rail-road logistics platform transports bottom ash from the Group’s Salaise-sur-Sanne facility.

As such, 60 to 70% of goods are transported by rail from Salaise-Sur-Sanne, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40%.

Overall, approximately 40,000 tons of material transit through the facility each year.
